Yesterday old_tab, astormyhaze, fizzybottlecap, myself, and some other brej of ours went to see Leslie play at the Danforth Music Hall, a lovely old venue which is particularly lovely because it has seats so I can rest my old feet so tall idiots can't block Mel's view every 6.5 seconds or so. awww that sounds so awesome. it almost makes me wish i lived in toronto. ALMOST. because as shady as toronto is, you get all the stupid amazing concerts and i get stuck with nothing. even better, would be if i had an effing CAR so I could actually um get to toronto without relying on the shady greyhound. GAH I really really want to see Feist again :( She's so cute and just... adorablyamazing. <3 x a lot.

Regardless, if there is going to be a massive BSS concert with lots of peeps I will definitely be attending if it means I have to sleep in a BOX. *hopes upon hope that Stars comes to London.....*

P.S. this new trend of using the word DEUCE to describe everyone both confuses and amuses me. Where did that COME from?

The Feist buttons are kind of lame (they are small and one is red and says "Feist" and the other is black and says "Let It Die" in boring font), but I got a few extra, so if you only want one of each, then you're covered! If you want more, lemme know and I'll get you some.

The Jason buttons are a set of six and I'll get you a set if there are any left tonight. *gang sinez*

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! DECEMBER! STARS! Ahhhhh I am ecstatic! There is absolutely NOTHING that is going to keep me from going. Unless there is major suckiness and they decide to play the age card, but if there really is two (or more? If my funds are as plentiful as they seem to be, I will go to each concert that will have me.) I imagine one (at least) will be cool

WHAT?! I didn't think they'd be touring (in Canada) but I figured it was because they'd just end up adding more tour dates and start following around touring with another band once they were done with Death Cab or Bloc Party or whatever. *sigh*

I'm actually really excited about Amy's solo stuff coming out, but Memphis? COME ON. I mean, really, Memphis is cool and all, but IT'S NO STARS.

(THERE IS AN EVAN/IBI MUSICAL HOOK-UP RUMOUR? WHY? WHO WOULD...WHY WOULD...? I NEED TO FIND OUT WHO STARTED THIS RUMOUR SO I CAN KILL THEM BUT ONLY AFTER I KILL IBI FOR TRYING TO SHOVE HER WAY INTO EVAN'S CLASSY LIFE.)

ITA about Memphis. It's very rare that I actually feel like listening to them, but I still wouldn't say they're bad. Meh. Definitely nowhere near Stars. I'm more curious about Amy's solo stuff than excited because let's face it, there's a pretty big chance she'll just be singing and playing guitar and it'll all kind of bore me. I'm hoping I'm wrong though and that she'll be way better than I'm expecting because she really is awesome.

(It's just a rumour, guy, and an old one at that. I'm pretty sure we're in the clear and that it would have happened by now if it were ever going to happen. That said, I don't like the idea of Evan having any alone time if him and Ibi are still together.)

I like Memphis in measured doses because anything involving Torquil, I like, but I only love Memphis when Amy is singing on the tracks, like the sekret track I sort of hacked into the Le Grand Magistery site to save found a few weeks ago that is like Stars except more acoustic-y and is INSTANT LOVE. I'm also waiting for my copy of Memphis' previously unreleased A Good Day Sailing which has two Amy tracks on it, because then I can pretend they are Stars tracks, sort of.

Amy's solo stuff is a bit of an acquired taste and I don't think you'll be that down with it, Shelster. I like it a lot, especially live, and it's a lot more accessible than Emily Haines' solo material, but I tend to like female singer-songwriter-y acoustic stuff, and you don't, so I'm pretty sure it won't be your bag, yo.

IBI ASSLICK IS DEUCE AND SHOULD GET AWAY FROM CLASSY EVAN AND STOP WRITING DEUCE BOOKS. That is all.

Guy, I am soooo glad Ashlee went back to the blonde hair. Seeing pictures like that just seals the deal for me; the dark hair was BAD!!!
