one of the nicer silly livejournal things...

May 11, 2005 22:13

Post a memory of me in the comments. It doesn't have to be the first memory of us meeting, just the first event that comes to your mind when you think about me. It can be anything you want.
Then post this in your journal and see what people remember of you.

you got this from my journal! yay! and yes, i remember the rocks, too. i miss talking with you.

i remember sitting out on the stone wall of the veranda smoking a cigarette with you, when you suddenly burst out singing "i wanna be an air force ranger! i wanna live a life of danger!"

not only was that hilarious, but when i asked you where the fuck that came from, you had the best reply in the world.

you shrugged and said, "aristotle was a silly man."

i'll never forget that. because of that and many other things, i'll always smile when i think of you.

Libby, i just clicked "post comment" with the intention of posting the EXACT same thing.

Antonia, i remember our walks to class. and how we were the mere "bodyguards."

oh, how i miss the two of you!

It's definitely not the first time we met or anything, but the first thing that came up in the "back in the day" cabinet of my mind is the two of us on the beach at fire island, belting out (almost?) the entire buffy musical into the wind at the top of our lungs, and there being nobody there to hear us. it was so goddamn freezing and windy, and i thought i would never be able to speak again afterward, and i had to be buffy in the spike/buffy duet but it was ok because we were awesome.

i just realized i'm not the only one commenting with a random singing fiasco memory. that pretty much figures...i don't think i can remember ever really screaming the way i have since i met you (you fucking psychopath).

I remember how every day we'd write letters to each other in a "day dream/night dream" book, and how we thought our letters would meet in the middle, but we never finished. Each letter we took great pains to illustrate either "A" or "J" depending on who the letter was to. Which started because I made the anarchy sign and you took it as an A for Antonia.
