I tried eating a rose the other day and it tasted absolutely unlike Rose. At first, sitting in a deck chair on the patio overlooking the back yard, I tried just a nibble, a morsel of a petal. but you need to know something:

you don't eat rose pedals, you eat rose hips. doofus.

seriously, conor: rose pedals, though rich in iron, can reek havoc on your intestines. too much metal for them to handle.

If you're gonna eat the petals, you have to dip them in egg white and roll them in granulated sugar and then put them sparingly on a cake.

Does the ice cream truck's song have old-Casio-keyboard percussion in it? Because I hate that one. Even more than the one that plays "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?" But not as much as the one that plays "Greensleeves."

And, honestly, I've never eaten rose petals before. I did do a cursory google to see if it they were even edible, but I admit I did not look long enough to read about coating them in sugar and placing them on a cake.
