after school today i went for a drive to washington's crossing with elizabeth. we brainstormed ideas about what her concentration for art should be. eventually we came up with "struggle". you can kind of express everything in your life that way. everything is an obstacle

if you're talking about the concentration for AP art, tell liz not to force her choice. tell her to do something absolutely crazy (reena worked for that department and saw tons of AP art concentrations-- including cats in outerspace) and make sure shes 100% about it.

otherwise she will kill herself doing something she sortof likes instead of loves. seriously.

first... i like how you referred to me as "elizabeth" and yeah the concentration is hard to think about, but i realize that i could have such a broad look at everything with "struggle" especially with the year 2006, i think i could really look at everything in my life with different perspectives do some real interesting paintings
