I think I might just still be 17 years old at heart. At work, the girl I like talking to the most is still in high school. We just seem to have similar attitudes...this is weird. Better better better
There is nothing like doing well at work that boosts my confidence! I met my goal for the day, and the high-fives from my MOD felt awesome. Dee is so encouraging to me. I am on her team toward the pizza party, and she makes me feel like I'm her star sometimes. She is always smiling and seems so genuine. I don't see her treat other employees ( Read more... ) -
A fleeting, painful thought...
Lately, my sleep schedule has been all fucked up. I stayed awake for almost 2 days straight trying to turn around my sleep schedule and stick w/Andy's crazy military shift so I could spend as much time with him as possible before I move back to LA. I am in Virginia this month at my grandmother's house. I am working 40 hrs per week at a 24-hr convenience store because that is the best offer I could get for my brief stint in the area. Trip to Orange Beach, Alabama
I just got back today from an all-too-brief stint at a condo at Orange Beach. All the girls in my family, plus a friend of the family and her 2 little girls went for 4 days and 3 nights of fun in the sun. I just found out that my grandmother has cancer and is starting chemo next week. We're visiting later this summer and I'm thinking of visiting James Madison University while we're there. Every day I wake up and my smile gets bigger. For the past 2 days, I've managed to keep up energy w/o the use of caffeine for EVERY class.
