I don't write in my livejournal often. At first I would write in it for fun. The main purpose of my the entrys I would write was to make people laugh. It was for the people. Then I discovered I could also use it to write about the things that have been on my mind. However, it didn't take long to see that it always came out like I was bitching

dave, you worry too much! you have to just let things go their natural ways...you cant change destiny. girls will be able to take you seriously later on...i mean, its just high school now, and you're right, a lot of us are going through some pretty bad crap, but changing who you really are isnt the way to go. believe me, i know. be yourself, and one day you will meet the girl who WILL take you seriously, and like you for you.

I gotta tell ya, Dave, there are not a lot of respectable girls to date in high school. The range of personalities/appearances isn't all that wide. And right now, we're pretty bitchy. Why in God's name would you wanna deal with us now? Stupid boys and their stupid hormones... Good luck with finding a girl to have a relationship, if that's what you really want.

Dave, you're a great guy. Don't worry about girls and school. I know it's a huge pain in the ass, but don't let that crap ruin parts of your life. Let school be over with, then have a kickass summer. Don't worry about finding "that girl" because she WILL come along, just be patient, and believe me, it's the hardest thing in the world when you really want a relationship (hell, I've been trying forever).. but just wait.. Have an amazing summer, and things will be great. Senior year will kick ass.. Just remember that. The whole thing about people not taking you serious is just minor. I think I know you well enough to think that, sure, you love to joke, but I've also seen your serious side. Things wil come around for you, they always do :)
