For those who haven't been to William Blake Lodge lately,renovation of the space continues. Most recently, the in-suite bathroom has been tiled. The end to the build-out is in sight! [And just to be clear: I am merely the photographer; credit for the tiling goes to our illustrious lodge master.]

The Times Literary Supplement calls Perdurabo: The Life of Aleister Crowley "monumental" and says that "as an accumulation of largely reliable data it is the major biography to date." So writes reviewer Phil Baker, author of Austin Osman Spare: The Life and Legend of London’s Lost Artist.

Over the weekend, kakurowski and I found a loveseat for the William Blake Lodge sitting area, while srprs devoted himself to the Masonic work of tyling the kitchen floor. Just in time for Massapalooza this coming weekend!

My last time near a hurricane was when House of Usher kicked off the annual Progday festival in Chapel Hill, NC, in 1999. Hurricane Dennis was about to make landfall, and the skies were just starting to spit. Thanks to srprs for his hard work in installing the sink, faucet, garbage disposal and dishwasher at William Blake Lodge. It's sure been nice to have events at the space this weekend and not have to hand-wash dishes. As sister B. said, "I just turned on the garbage disposal and grinned for about two minutes."
