What have I done in July? If you recall, about a month ago a large chunk of the east coast was under water. Ever since the roads opened, my crew and I have been doing flood clean-up in nearby towns Sidney and Walton. Mostly shoveling mud out of basements and carrying warped and waterlogged things out to the curb into somewhat menacing piles. This ( Read more... )

Park work, programs, trail work, build projects, any other projects dave gets us into.

you are indeed a brave soul, with all that asbestos and such. If you find any fantastically warped instrumens (I'm thinking those organs), hide them somewhere and maybe someday I can recover them to make horribly odd music with.

The asbestos we should never have touched. I didn't even know what it was until after they started ripping it down. It's illegal, and we probably made it worse.

The organs we smashed up with a sledgehammer because they were too heavy to get upstairs (we were working without stairs, actually).
