The next morning came and the front door was knocked on repeatedly. Even though everyone was asleep, Tegoshi decided to take care of it first. He came down the stairs, still groggy, but lightly slapped his pretty young face a few times to get the sleepiness off his face.
"Yes? May I help you?" Tegoshi opened the door and found a man covered in a black cape covering his face with a basket filled with red, juicy apples. However, Tegoshi didn't know the identity of the man because his face was covered by the shadows of the cape. It was actually Ryo in disguise.
Ryo cleared his throat, trying to change his voice so he wouldn't be recognized. "Good day, young man. Would you care for a nice, sweet apple?" Ryo picked out an apple from the basket and offered it to Tegoshi. But it wasn't any ordinary apple, inside it was poison. Before Ryo left the castle, he injected a poisonous, magic spell inside of it that can make someone fall into a deep sleep once consumed into the body. The only way to be woken up is to break the spell. And the only way to break the spell is true love's kiss.
Tegoshi stared at the apple for a moment oddly. Why would some random person offer him fruit? Then, a gurgling noise could be heard. That was Tegoshi's stomach. Since he just woke up, he needed to eat breakfast. Tegoshi gave in and took the apple. "T-Thank you."
He took a bite to satisfy his morning hunger. It was extremely delicious. Probably one of the most tastiest apples he's ever had. But once he swallowed, that's when the poison kicked in. Tegoshi's eye widened. "Uh! Ahh..." He fell to the ground with a thud and was now in a deep sleep.
Ryo unmasked the blackness hiding his face and laughed maniacally. "Finally! He's gone! That annoying little twerp is finally gone!!"
Suddenly, Ryo's shouts of triumph could be heard by one of the Seven Juniors. It was Fumito. He came downstairs and found Tegoshi's body on the floor. Even looking from a far distance, Fumito could see that Tegoshi wasn't breathing, so he officially claimed him dead. "Guys!! Wake up!! Now!" He yelled.
Everyone came downstairs and gasped in horror at the sight.
Yuri started to wail. "No!! It can't be!"
"Yuya-san's...dead...?" Koichi whispered under his breath.
"I can't believe it..." Taisuke shook his head in denial.
"Who could of done such a thing!?" Hiromitsu added.
Shoon stared at Tegoshi's "dead" body until Ryo's laughing caught his attention. He looked up and then glared at the boys' arch enemy. "It's you..."
Ryo ceased his triumph and looked at the boys while smirking. "Well, well, well. If it isn't the Seven Shrimps. I'm surprised you're all still alive!"
"Seven Juniors!" Kota corrected in a ticked mood. "What the heck did you do to Yuya-san!?"
Ryo cackled back. "It was only an eternal sleeping spell, my dear boy. Nothing much."
Kota bit his lip. "'Nothing much'...? 'Nothing much'!? How could you!! You killed one of our comrades! That's unforgivable!!"
"Heh. You really think I actually care about that? I just wanted him to get him out of the way so I could be number one in looks! I don't even give a damn crud about the people that think about him!"
Kota couldn't take it anymore. He noticed the long sword on his dining room table and took into his hands. "You're an evil man, Ryo, you know that? You took everything away from us. Our house, our friend, everything!! I'll never forgive you!!" Kota shouted.
"Oh, so you wanna fight me? Well," Ryo took out his sword also and drew it with Kota's. "Bring it on, you little brat!!"
Ryo and Kota started their sword fight to the death. Eveytime Kota kept coming closer, Ryo went backwards, step by step. It got so intense, they walked all the way up a high cliff, and it started to pour. Even thought Kota, Ryo, and the other Juniors (who were watching the battle from afar) were sopping wet, they kept fighting.
Suddenly, Ryo knocked Kota's sword out of his hands. The sword went flying off the cliff, and into the harsh waves of the ocean beneath. Ryo then knocked Kota down with his sword, and poked at his throat. "Time to die, you little nuisance..."
But there was still hope for Kota. Since there was rain, that's means there would be thunder and lightning. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning struck the ground Ryo was standing on and it broke the mound, sending Ryo falling off the cliff, to his death.
Kota and the others looked over the cliff and saw him crash into the violent water with a splash. Nishikido Ryo was now officially dead and gone forever. When he disappeared, the rain stopped and the boys, except for Kota, jumped for joy.
"He's gone! He's finally gone!!" Taisuke cheered.
"Now we don't have to deal with him ruining the kingdom!" Hiromitsu joined in.
"You got that right!" Koichi agreed.
"This means we get to move back into the castle, right, Kota?" Fumito faced Kota who was hanging his head down in depression.
"Huh, Kota? What's wrong?" Shoon came closer to him, worried.
"Yeah, Kota! You should be happy!" Yuri tried to change his gloomy mood.
Kota tried to put a smile on his face, but it failed. "I'm happy but...it's just...Yuya-san....the person we trusted the most is now...dead...Yuya-san's dead!!" Kota covered his face with his hands and started to wail. It wasn't too long until the other six joined him in his crying fest, mourning for Tegoshi's "death".
And tomorrow will be the final chapter!! *inserts dramatic music*
