Just a thought of how absolutely fantastic my mom is. She's the mayor of a small town and has done some incredibly radical things in the 9 short months that she's been "in charge." She told me recently that everything she does is preceded by the thought, "Is this action/change/decision the very best for my community?"

A good weekend with Skylar and Marshall. Marshall is 16 and has never left his little hometown -- so we promptly took him to Ba-Sho, a Japanese restaurant where Skylar ordered him Unagi Eel sushi. EXCELLENT dinner, and very reasonably priced.
