Bindra bhai, badhaai!

Aug 11, 2008 22:16

Am a bit surprised to not see even one post on my friends' page mentioning this :

Kudos to Abhinav Bindra, and here's hoping that the day shall come when an individual gold medal for India is not an amazing one-off, but  another - albeit priceless - contribution towards a healthy tally.

Arrey your f-list needs to be checked then! I came to know of it only thru the f-list - it was all over the place :) ;)

I think your f-list has several posts on this, but not by several posters :-p

Meri f-list ke log to sabhi kaafi busy lagte hain.

So far, I've seen *nothing* of this Olympics - not even one event. Live dekhne ka to yun bhi scene nahi hai, due to the time difference - though maybe I could try catching something over breakfast. Hmm, food for thought.

Hmm, maybe I'll look for some footage. I'd be more interested in footage of the event itself.

yes, look at nbcolympics.com
they have the un-edited video of the entire event, till the medal ceremony.

Thanks for the link - unfortunately, it seems to be exclusively for subscribers of T.V channels in the U.S.

Sorry, I missed it - saw the "Ghajini hairdo" bit, then "more silly news", and moved on.

I was actually expecting some reflection on nationalism by you - and now I see that it is indeed there, via Orwell :-)

Thanks, DD :-)

He was impressively composed during the ceremony as well.
