Mr. Never-in-one-place .......

Even for someone who's been moving around a bit in the recent years, 2008 has been absolutely crazy. It seems like I'm never in one place.

January: I welcomed the new year in Bangalore, and spent some days in Banaras and Delhi before flying back to Germany (I'd been to Agra and Belpahar in the last fortnight of 2007, by the way).

And to think I've been in exactly the same place, literally coz you'd find me sitting on the same futon with the same cover with my feet up on a stool, for the last 9 months. I could be a statue you could visit when you come here ;-).

Promise to shoo the pigeons away, will you. Meaning, I am envious :-)

Funny, statue, pigeon and all. Reminded me of Trafalgar Square, where they have signs saying "do not feed the pigeons" in several languages, including Hindi! :-)

So many different places. Am jealous :) But then, I have done a fair bit of travelling this year..and sometimes i feel its too exhausting. :)

Yes, it can get exhausting. Am feeling so right now. Time to take a few days off!

:-) - indeed. I should have spent a few days after the conferences etc. in each place, though, to explore it a little better. But I always felt that I needed to get back to work. Got to work on that :-p

Good to know you're doing good. A very good friend of mine moved to Dubai recently, maybe I'll stop over during my next trip to India.

I've been doing good too, the Ph.D should be completed sometime in the second half of this year. Am in Freiburg, Germany.
