Human Nature

it's not so bad
the mercy killing;
a self-indulgent murder
caught red handed
with an unconscious victim
and a smile

as luck would have it
he survived;
he lives
and the guilt
is punishment enough
for your deed

Dead Last

sometimes it's not that basic
sometimes you have to face it
don't waste it
if it's broke you replace it
every stroke; you won't ace it
but chase it
every chance; embrace it
every race; place it
to finish is the greatest

when i close my eyes
the disaster stops

the fallen rebuild
