My eye hurts -- an indication to get a new pair of contacts. For as long as I can remember, I'll use monthly disposables for as long as they can possibly last, sometimes up to a year. I guess this is bad and any optician would yell at me for that, but I do try to clean them and handle them properly.

Time does fly. When mum booked the short 2D1N cruise aboard Superstar Virgo during Josh's one-week school break which begins today, it was on January 6, which was more than two months ago. And now the cruise is barely three days away.

I don't stock up on pimple cream at home as I'm no longer a hormonal teenager, but nearly 2 weeks ago, I experienced a breakout... 2 zits at the side of my nose and one on the bridge of the nose. And these were the red, swollen, painful ones that no amount of concealer could hide.

Yesterday's test was as bad as could be expected. Not the test itself, but the taxi operator screwed up big-time. There was a heavy downpour, and my first cab didn't show! And it took nearly half an hour to get a replacement after that, before I found out that they'd gotten my address wrong and that's why no driver could locate me.

I'm totally stressed out... I didn't manage to get a wink of sleep last night, and I have a subbing test later at 3pm. A subbing test can be just as pressurizing as a writing test, because subs are expected to churn out polished, snappy and accurate copy fast, while paying attention to other page elements, from the images used to fitting everything ( Read more... )

Time does fly; our 2D1N cruise to Malacca/Port Klang is only a week away! I fully intend to stockpile Johnson's Mini Face Powder if I happen across it again in KL. It's the cutest powder compact and so small it can fit into my pouchette along with my cards, cash and handphone.
