Yesterday we did most of the rest of the demolition for the guest bathroom. This included taking off all the door casing and baseboard trims, disconnecting the aged plumbing and removing the vanity. The only thing left is the toilet. Walls have been sanded, washed and spackled. I need to remove the toilet then go over the walls with a final bit of ( Read more... ) -

guest bathroom remodel underway
Today we started on the guest bathroom. At least this time I took before pictures, even though they aren't ready to post yet. After taking photos, we ripped out the built in cabinet that had been chewed by vaurous pets. Some of the damage was poorly fixed with putty then sloppily painted over before I bought the house. Saturday was tree trimming day. I was worried that we'd waited too long to trim and we'd kill the trees, but we were re-assusred by our local nursery/gardening expert that the particular trees that we waited to deal with would be hard to kill so go ahead and trim ( Read more... ) -

I recieved several ounces of lovely angora last year at Wildflower as a door prize. I decided what I was going to do with it before I left the retreat last year, but it took me until the Winter retreat in Argyle this year to actually do something about it ( Read more... ) -
