Waiting for the axe to fall (really long)
Every body knows that "the economy" isn't doing well and there's lots of layoffs, lots of foreclosures, etc. This issue grazed my awareness in late November or early December when an employee in our office was layed off. late start today
We have 1/2" of ice on everything outside today so I am staying home until TPTB decide to go open up the office. I live closer than anyone and could have been there on time this morning, but I don't have keys to let myself in. I have to stay home until I am notified that the office is open. I've been good

I did something this morning that I rarely do. I frogged. I am working on a pair of fingerless mitts which I had finished to the point of weaving in all the ends, then decided that it didn't fit right after all.
