AC can't keep up
I usually don't complain about the heat, but my efforts to save energy are making me cranky. I got home from work today and the inside of my house was 86 degrees. I have the thermostat set at 85. So, even with it running constantly, the AC isn't keeping up with that high of a temp indoors. Thank goodness this heat wave is supposed to break in a ( Read more... ) -
follow up to medical rant
I am feeling better now. I still hurt in the same place, but not as badly. The pillow is helping, but I am having a hard time sleeping on my back for long periods (which is the proper way to sleep with this new pillow). I manage about 1-2 hours every night, which is helping ( Read more... ) -

BIG spindle spun project
I have 20 oz of Shetland Wool/Mohair blended batts from http://www.fireantranch.com/. The wool is mostly white with tufts of yellow blended with a small amount of beautiful blue mohair. Good news: tax refund check arrived today
Bad News: my small things exchange item was returned to me. It came with a note describing someone else's creation which I am certain I would have loved. I'm sure it was an accident, but I'm still bummed.
