shadesong does something called Blogathon, which involves staying up for 24 hours writing. This is a fundraiser--shadesong is raising money for the BARCC via donations and also an auction. She collected a bunch of neat stuff from people to auction, and wrote things based on the items. I donated her two pairs of earrings: gears and beetle wings. She

Also, it makes me a little sad that the hand knit shawl is only at around $45 right now. $100 is a bargain for a hand knit shawl in that kind of yarn.
