I was having this beautiful dream. Everything was perfect about it. Everything about the landscape and ambient soundscape and lighting were enough to give my heart a euphoric buzz. DAWG
My roommates got a lil puppy right after I moved in. She's a 10 week old Mastiff-Labrador named Edith, so cute despite her unfortunate name! It sounds too close to "eat it". There's this brand of bottled minced garlic that some of my friends buy. From more than one bottle I've thought that I was detecting tones of hotdog in the flavor. Everyone say ( Read more... ) -

Today I woke up still drunk and sort of sick feeling to the sound of roofers. I successfully fell back asleep after tricking my mind into interpreting the pounding hammers as techno beats... until they turned on the radio. Maybe I have poor circulation, or maybe I've just really been getting used to the fact that my house is colder than most people's homes, but whenever I step in the shower, my feet feel as if they are burning, even if the water is more lukewarm than hot. My laptop cries tears of fail. There's a place in a town in the prairie that I inhabit with 25 cent taps for a Thursday happy hour. BUGS
Its starting to get warm enough to sleep with the windows open. I need to use heavier blankets but its nice to have the fresh airflow. I had a dream where bugs were crawling on me.
