I think I told you in Chicago that I’m so excited for this X-Files book. Even if the latest movie was not really all that great for me (I’m being very kind right now), I have still been on-again/off-again rewatching the series. One of these days, I think I’m just going to have to start from the beginning and watch in order, as I usually just jump back and forth between my favorite episodes.
It was great seeing you again in Chicago! You have no idea how happy I am that you have that drawing printed up! Perhaps once I read The Story of Martha, I’ll be inspired again.

As for the hotel, the forced heat gets me sick every single year. I've been a ball of snot and self-pity on and off since I left Chicago. I've gotta get myself a humidifier or I fear this won't go away completely until Spring. Eek! I'd recommend you do the same, but I think it's probably humid enough where you are.
So whilst I was in Chicago I bought myself some voice recognition software, so that I can now read my scrawl into a microphone whilst wearing a really tight headset, and the words just magically appear onscreen.
JEALOUS! So, so jealous. That sounds like one of the coolest toys ever. Even with the hilarious typos.

The one thing I will say for the hotel in Chicago is that there was some sort of thermostat conspiracy -- no matter what we set it on before we went out, invariably it would be 60 when we returned. We were not amused.
Greatly anticipating the X-Files book, if only because I hope it'll help me understand why all of my friends bear such fierce allegiance to it. We shall see.
