I made it to NJ. Having a few problems with the campgrounds, and trying to sort that out. *sigh*. But I did make it.

I am in Eurika, MO. I stayed here for the night because I am getting that damn oil change. I was driving today and something just didn't feel right. I have already seized one engine due to not changing the oil, {a long time ago}, and I don't want a repeat performance. I am having them check all the other fluids and the tires also. Yeah, I made a wrong turn somewhere and ended up in Miami. *lol* The one in Oklahoma, that is. I drove another 370 some-odd miles and I'm almost in Missouri.

wench18 has informed me that if I get to an area where I don't have a connection for the night, I am to be sure and call her so she can post my progress. So if you're keeping track and you don't see something from me, go check her journal out.

The short version is I'm alive and well in Texas, almost into Oklahoma. No major problems to speak of, and I am now on Central time.

I made it through a whole 370 some odd miles without a major issue. It was much cooler today, since I am in a higher altitude. And the landing gear didn't try to lower itself again today. I'm in a pretty nice park tonight which is nice because the last couple have been a little crappy. I'm paying a bit more, but it is worth it. I am having a pizza ( Read more... )
