FLOODS!!!

Cheltenham and Gloucester have no water for 14 days, because of severe flood damage to the water plant for chelt and glos. I cannot even describe to you, how awful this is. There is a water bowser at the end of our road, which is always empty, the army is going around to supermarkets every now and then giving out water. I cannot believe im gonna be

luckily i have, although on friday, it was like a river at the bottom of my road, but i live up the road abit on a slight hill :) loving that at the moment :P where is summer? *looks longingly at summer dresses in my closet* Its just the water that is a right pain right now, going to use the tap out of habit and nada coming out. Lots of places have closed because of it. I had tickets to see Harry Potter last sunday, and they shut the cinema, until the water is up and running again. :( rain rain go away...... :P xxx

Its not so bad, haven't had to use the bowser yet as we filled two camping bottles before the water went off and the local supermarkets have been giving out free crates of water.

Still have to work normal hours though which is bit shit :\

Only thing pissing me off so far is seeing people fill their cars with tanks of water from the bowsers so that other people don't get enough. The council has said you are just meant to take enough for drinking, cooking and basic sanitation, not filling bath tubs with. Thats prob why yours is empty bex.

I agree, duck- what do you mean its not so bad?! do you not miss showers? baths? or a flushing toilet? :P Im dreaming of a shower right about now :P Im barely working atm, its crap :P And its pretty much because of the water :P I can't be bothered with the bowsers, as the horror stories of people pissing in it, and putting bleach in them. Fuck that :P Free Bottled water from the army guys at supermarkets is the way to go.

Showers are the only thing I miss. You can flush toilets with rainwater and wash hands with alcohol gel. Argos hired their own bowser so im working like normal..

If you miss showers that much you could always visit the swimming pool in stroud, they still have water :p
