Yesterday was a very long day of flying and I am glad it's over with, because now I'm in Hawaii!!!
But now for the down side: we woke up at 4am this morning because of the time change (equivalent of 9am EST) and killed time in the hotel until just before 6am. Steve and I went on a jog next to the Waikiki beach, hoping to also watch the sun rise. ( Read more... ) -

So the good news:
I have a condo for Hawaii in 2.5 weeks. I've been so cautiously optimistic about it to the point of being terrified to talk about it in case a freak accident occurs. Can you blame me? The last one flooded as if hurricane Irene had come back for revenge. I kind of expect this one to go up into flames or something. But we have it. ( Read more... ) -
Not again
I don't know what's wrong with me.
I'm getting sick again. Bad sore throat and an achey back. My greatest fear is that this is a recurrence of mono. It's probably just a cold, but my back is really achey. And an achey back was one of the first few signs of mono I got before.

I'm sick of this project. It is SO tedious and SO slow progressing. It's basically answering a bunch of stupid questions, like 'What is mass?', and relating it to the motor skill we selected. I've given up on chemistry for tonight. it's impossible to "relearn" 493pgs of chemistry in 1 night and I was a fool fool fool for even thinking I might just need to review and not "know". I've been feeling rather ill these last couple days. Nauseas ill. And tired, oh so very tired. It has made me incapable and unwilling to study for the 3 difficult exams on Monday and Tuesday. January 3rd-13th the Water Watch community at MSU is doing a relief trip. They're going to Camp Victor in Mississippi to help clean up and help the people devastated by hurricane Katrina. I really would like to go with them but find myself unable to because of lack of funds. It costs $200 to go and I can't pay for it out of pocket. It would really ( Read more... )
