I remember that feeling... it was so completely difficult, leaving the first assignment.

Oh jeez, I was SO heartbroken to leave my first assignment. My goodness. I finished on a Friday, on the following Tuesday we had a concert that I was conducting on. So there were two days that I hadn't been at school and they were all like "Ms Schmitz! We've missed you!" It was crazy and I so hated leaving those kids. (I was at high school first)

Hell, I still kind of miss them.

Leaving my elementary placement wasn't all that much easier.
