apparently yesterday by my work, a construction company did not "call before you dig". so what did they hit? telephone fiber optic lines, about as thick as my fist. they estimate 3 days without phones and 500K-1million dollars worth of damage.

i finally saw the departed today.

Because i hit a deer last week, i spent almost my entire paycheck on getting it fixed. I bought a handful of groceries for the weekend leaving me with FOUR dollars for two weeks. my projections were me running out of gas on thursday and out of food saturday. Today at work we found a praying mantis. I helped it onto a stick and then took it outside. There, i found my co-worker with a fuzzy catepillar. So we did the next logical thing and place the catepillar on the same stick. I'm on my way to work a 5:56 this morning, groggy, and cold. Tom petty's "Chasing Down a Dream" is on. Everything this is fine, then BLAM!! A fucking deer out of nowhere. I hit it. Dave bought a 50" projection HDTV. But the best thing is i can now watch Law and Order in HD. life is sweet.

Deanna and I got into an arguement today about what came first: the pickle or the screw. after much laughing, we finally were able to research it.

apparently the pickle by 1500 years or so.

I'm thinking people show up around 6:00 on sat and see a movie at 8? the next showing is at 10. but i'm flexible. maybe we could do something for dinner?
