Oh the heart of youth. Feelings are so new and emotional tissue is so tender and vulnerable. How easy it is to feel wonderful overwhelming elation, then get cut so deep your heart bleeds til you think you'll die. Not many are actually weak of mind to actually die of a broken heart. When you think of it, it's usually just wounded pride, which hurts just as much if not more. Believe me, you are very normal in your teenage emotions. Each of the pains you feel will make you stronger and more impervious to the next wound you incur. Soon enough your heart will develop a shield of scar tissue that will help you to be cautious of your next romantic adventure. Be careful, however, not to let heart scars turn bitter. Be wary of hurting others in attempt to mend you own wounds. Be of the understanding that time and only time heals a broken heart.
