A dear friend is moving to town and needs a temporary domicile for her cat. She will buy all supplies, and would like to come to visit, and the arrangement will be quite temporary, she's assured me (until May, if I remember correctly), so if you can host a feline for a few months, please be in touch asap.

So, would it be inappropriate to call the tonsillectomy, "throat surgery?" Technically, it's not really in the throat throat, but I feel like such a p^ssy when I say, "Oh, I recently had my tonsils out." But if I go, "Yeah, I recently had throat surgery," then it sounds more... legitimate, somehow.
