Jordan has painted her room chocolate brown and it actually looks pretty good. It's also starting to look a lot like Ethel's Chocolate Lounge, but with more teal.  She's currently scrubbing paint out of the bathtub, but I'm sure once she gets a chance she'll post pictures. It was a lot of work (for her) but I think totally worth it.

It's happened. Our livejournal name finally makes sense again.

So, I want to move some shelves off the wall in the living room so I can move the couch and possibly some other furniture. I want the apartment to be completely different once Abby leaves and I think this will be nice ( Read more... )

Drama's over for now. Abby found an apartment. Well, my mom actually found her an apartment. It sounds pretty nice, and if she doesn't manage to screw it up somehow she will be out by August 1st. That makes me really happy. I can't wait for her to leave. Also, now that she's found a place she's going out of town which will be so nice.

So, Abby still hasn't found/looked for an apartment. She originally had two roommates to look with and now they've both abandoned her (can I blame them?). It's like Passover all over again, except this time she's going to be homeless instead of just passive agressive during the whole seder. It's off to Atlanta tomorrow to find Rachel an apartment. I haven't seen Abby for the past few days, which has been really nice. I mean, she's been around, I just haven't seen her. Why on earth do I have an OK Cupid account? Apparently "I" signed up for this back in January. Which is really, really not true. Day 1
Rachel and I left Chicago at about 10:30 AM. Surprisingly there was absolutely no traffic all the way through Indiana and into Michigan, which never happens.
