Today I crossed the River Plate and I am now in a charming little town called Colonia del Sacramento. The computer at this hotel has a Latin American keyboard which is very difficult to use. It does, however, have an "ç" key, which will really come in handy when I describe in great detail the way in which the façade of this building is different ( Read more... )

Hooray for me. I'm running away from my problems to Florida. I am actually FLEEING THE COUNTRY.

Do I feel cowardly? No, I do not.

To be perfectly frank, I feel rather empowered.

Buenos Aires so far has been amazing. So far I've done everything I came here to do: imbibed large quantities of Malbec, eaten a delicious steak, and had some of the most delicious ice cream of my life. Now I can just relax in the late summer heat and do all of that again and again.

Well, I'm off to Argentina tomorrow evening. Soon I'll be sipping on Malbec while enjoying the best steaks of my life. Apparantly it was 88° there today, compared to 22° (13° windchill) it is here right now.

I'll be back March 3rd, and Abby is going to be gone almost the entire month of March, which will be amazing. I love having the place to

Dublin was so much fun. It was exactly what I needed to get out of this rut. Well, I wasn't really in a rut, but you know what I mean. It was a perfect city to only visit for only three days because you could pretty much see everything worth seeing in two days, and everything else in the third.
