Random observations on a not-random day
Today is the twelve year anniversary of my AIDS diagnosis. I have to say a couple of three things about that:- I never imagined I would still be alive in twelve years, given where I was.

Overheard in KMart
One of my errands this afternoon brought me to KMart. I knew they had some stuff on sale, and they have a lower concentration of evil than Walmart or Target. I ended up scoring about $20 of kitchen stuff, and narrowly avoided scoring even more flannel shirts, even though I bought a ton of them at a different sale a few weeks ago. I've been making a real effort to maintain positive framing of things this past year. For example, when making a request I focus on what I do want instead of what I don't want.
