I'm seeing posts/rumors about in the Spring LJ will do away with all paid accounts and will move entirely to being a Russian/Cyrillic based thing.

I have a lot of people/communities I only have here & don't have on DW & I want to fix that, pronto!

I never thought I'd have to do this, but I'm doing it right now... What's really funny is that my LJ basically exists so that I can share other people's posts and to write stuff I want no-one else to read... LIKE A REAL LIFE JOURNAL... maybe I should buy myself a paper journal and be done with it. Will send you my Dreamwidth the moment I have it all set up...

I pretty much crosspost from there and scroll (which takes very little time now) here 1-2/day.

I wonder what will happen to perm accts; Bonnie got this oen way back when...

While changes will be made to account levels next year, paid/perm accounts are not being canceled. Paid/perm accounts will become a sort of 'professional/elite' account type with a new name, but no one will lose any features or money on their purchased time. These accounts will in fact gain additional features over what they have now. "
