I decided that our home school is going to get out of the house once a week even if it's just to go to the local park. Last week we caught the beach for about 45 minutes after picking up #2 from college to bring her home.

Last winter we painted son's room.  I bought fabric for curtains and yarn to make a floor mat.  I've posted a little picspam, but here are some pics of the finished project:

It's the first day of the Freshman Orientation session we decided to attend.

I could use a little advice about quilt batts. The package on my 80 cotton/20 polyester batt says 120" by 120". The tape measure says 130" long. Due to a flaw in the fabric that I just discovered today, the comforter top can be 122", maximum. That should be sufficiently long.
