There was some guest commentator, not one of the judges, and I was complaining live on national television that her comments were not original nor funny. I woke up this morning singing Jingle Bells - like, hello? What's that all about?

I made it to the gym today after some 5-6 weeks' avoidance. I went swimming and then spent some time in the steam room and spa. I feel so much better for having been.

This is going to be a good week. I have lots of really nice things planned. Meeting some of my favourite people this week and meeting a friend in the making at the weekend.

I made a decision today of huge personal significance. Can't give details. But it's big.

I've just been swotting up for a seminar at work tomorrow. I can think of a lot better ways to spend my evenings.
