Headed off on my motorcycle with a few friends this last friday. We spent the last three days riding from the Valley to Utah and back. Just over 1100 miles, half of which were just today. I originally had hesitated going, but am glad I went now!

The roommate closed on his home and is moving this weekend. It will be strange not having him around as much, but we'll still be hanging out a lot. After all, we have the "kids" (dogs) and will have "joint custody" with them! :) Not sure if I'll search for another roommate. The roommate and I went to the Puppy Prison (Animal Control Shelter) and adopted two Siberian Huskies today. They were strays found running together and we think they are brother and sister. I cannot pick them up until tomorrow though. They need to be spayed and neutered. They are beautiful pups and seem to be very well behaved. I probably won't ( Read more... )

Sorry for not checking in. To tell the truth, I was a little lazy about my LJ as there wasn't a lot in my life worth sharing this last summer. Things started getting crazy when one of the long time employees bought the restaurant at which I was working, but only agreed to do so if I stayed on as the Manager. Working on getting the WebSite I've built for my parents' business moved to a new server. It's keeping me busy, but I enjoy it. It just means a little recoding on a large number of pages.

My roommate found out this morning that his cousin (she just graduated High School) was hit by a car while walking down the road last night. She's in Critical Condition in the Hospital, so he headed up there with his sister and brother today. They're going to spend the night up there so they can spend time with the family. Went out to dinner and the theater with my roommate. We saw "Cinderella Man." Not a bad movie. It was a little slow at times, but overall, was worth it!

It was a long day at work, even though it was only about 7 hours! I'm tired and heading to bed!

My first full day back to work was pretty much without excitement. We weren't too busy and I was bored much of the day. At least I was able to sit down and have a few beers in the afternoon when things were slow! Geesh! I sound like an alcoholic!

I cannot believe June is already here! Tomorrow I'm back to work at the restaurant. I have three long days ahead of me, but then I get a few days off. Of course, I'll be doing more yard work! At least I was able to mow my own lawn today!
