I am serious. I really believe some people complain just to hear their own voices. That or they don't listen to what you have said and ask a question to which you had JUST given the answer. I think I need a break from this job!

The day seemed pretty slow, but we really did a decent business. Later in the day, one of our beer reps stopped in to check on us and stayed to have a couple beers. He left me a nice healthy tip. He's a good guy in MY book now. :)

Business dropped off drastically today. I only worked the day shift, but this was SOOOOOO slow. I ended up doing book work for the owner most of the afternoon.

Since Rick and Chrissy are gone this weekend, I've been spending the last couple of nights at their house. They asked me to so their six dogs wouldn't get lonely. These people leave the stereo on at home so the dogs won't get bored or lonely or something like that!

Tonight was the second busiest night of our year so far. It is a good thing we had the extra help tonight. We couldn't have made it without the help as well as we did. Just about the time we thought our business was going to slow down, we get slammed again. Who would have known?

Whatever this crap is that is messing with me isn't good. I felt like total crap this afternoon. I'm a little better now, but have been coughing all day and night. At least things at the restaurant were slow tonight.

I think I have a cold coming on. I was coughing during the night but was fine when I woke. About half way through the day, I started feeling like crap. Hope it doesn't last long!

I had lined up some extra help for a large reservation we had today at the restaurant. She was sick and couldn't make it. It's a good thing my roommate was available and willing to help. He definitely bailed me out today.
