Yet again, I forgot. Last week no one voted. Same as this weekend. So... I ( Read more... )

Jesus, haha, remember when they wanted me to play Iron Man? Hahaha! I'm glad I didn't get on that sinking vessel. Hahahaha, man, haha. Great decision! I don't need to get tied down to a franchise to make #1 opening weekend. Gosh I'm boyish at 52. Haha!

Life is what I love. Along with exercise and vitamins.

Post something and post it from the heart! Say something meaningful and with purpose.

When should Ric Flair have retired? t0mcruise August 29 2015, 01:18:54 UTC
I've obviously been watching a lot of old wrestling, and Flair's longevity in the main event scene is more off-putting for me than it was impressive.

So I'll put the question to the cWo, when should Flair have called it quits as a wrestler?

My pick is 1994. Starrcade '93 was probably the last time I was impressed by Ric Flair. Before the match with Vader, he cut what I consider to be his last great *sane* promo. He makes it come full circle, not being ashamed to imply his age by referencing the infamous 1975 plane crash, and he just ties a great bow on his career and hits his catchphrases in a non forced way.

He goes over Vader, and then finally puts Sting over for good at the Clash. Then you can do the WCW version of the Ultimate Challenge or just have Sting job to Vader again and do Hogan/Vader. And Flair leaves with his dignity intact.

The referenced Starrcade promo. Just brilliant without him going insane. He looks good too. The only downside was referencing Fifi, who was about as relavent to his career as Tom Zenk was

Then the columnist posits different moments in time when that wrestler should have retired, with the pros and cons of the different scenarios.

It writes itself. I am gifted intellectually and sexually.
