Things fall apart.

People inevitably cycle out of online communities for whatever reasons--time conflicts, life changes, loss of interest, the dreaded Blog Drama. We don't have any mechanism for cycling people in, and while we held on for some time as our numbers dwindled, that can only go on so long. Especially when it's so easy to take whoever you've become friends with on here and stay in touch anywhere and everywhere else. It happens. And once the ol' blog isn't where we go first to discuss whatever's going on, once enough of us stop checking in multiple times a day, stop discussing things because nobody's discussing things, it's only a matter of time.

We'll always have the Welpies. Speaking of which, T0m, while you're here you should pick up the Lifetime Achievement Award we gave you in 2011. I've been keeping it warm for ya.
