Don't worry Rubbertex. I was told I was going to get $600.00 back and I only got $300.00 as well. I think from the looks of things anyone that 'did' get one only got 300 (least here in California.) But that's 300 you didn't have before, ya know? Meaning if you put it towards bills you weren't really out anything. Always look on the bright side of things and make the best of what you have :)

Unfortunately, $3 - $4 gas is here to stay. We just need to adjust our habits to the higher costs. I'm trying not to drive across town as much as I used to. If I can fill up my tank on average once a week or less, I'm happy.
Killing off debt is a good thing. There's really not a reason to have it anymore. Interest just sucks out the extra money that you would normally keep for yourself.
I've been wondering when the inelastic properties of the gas market was finally going to hit its pique, and start causing people to just stop buying gas. ^^() Its well over $4 a gallon here, and we're making the stuff locally! Damn OPEC...
