When you approach a roundabout intersection, please SLOW DOWN and YIELD to those already in the roundabout, be it car or bike.  Do not proceed right looking only to the right, do not speed up, do not procced to the left of the roundabout, and please watch for pedestrians.

Aaron and I are planning to go do some bicycle touring this summer. Nothing too major, just around the Gulf Islands, etc. I got a second hand mountain bike for that. This weekend I finally got around to making a pannier for my new mountain bike. My other bike has a basket pannier attached, where I just throw by backpack when I bike to work. So excited about Canada Reads! As far as I have listened, one book has been voted off: Children of my Heart by Gabrielle Roy. And another has been voted off today, but I haven't listed to the debate yet. My guess is that it is Stanley Park. I enjoyed that book but the panelists don't all seem to like it ( Read more... )
