Bah! I never knew jet lag this way could be so painful, espesically when combined with extreme de-hydration since I obveously could not bring water onto the plane. Really did not want to leave had to resit temptations to shout stop during take off. So my time in Victoria has ended. The time has gone rather quick. I have done a lot of new things during my stay here with room to do more if (hopefully when) I return in the future. I have met some nice people and wish I could have stayed longer to know them better ( Read more... )

Time has flown rather quickly, in a few days I will depart from Victoria for the states not to return for some time. Been a busy first week here. I've been out and about a lot. I've been swimming at 11pm, to a lakeside beach, played a tabletop rpg, and been to downdown victoria many times. Oh and last night I was taken clubbing (I can hear the sniggering from over here from my gentle friends), glad that my ears don't ring anymore though.

Well I've been here a few days now and its quite nice. I've been bombarded with 5,000,000,000 of Sarah's friends and hot weather. I've also played vampire the maescarade LARP (Handmaidens you can relax there was no sign of the couple). One thing I can't get over is the size of the place. Aikido was rather tiring today, I need to resume my dayly stretching exercises though as the regular sensi is returning I won't need to worry too much as we won't be doing much kneeling techniques.

Starting to get a little nevoues about my flight on friday, don't get me wrong I am looking forawrd to it all but the idea of being 8 time zones away from England is scary. I do not think I could do it if I didn't have a friend waiting for me on the other side.
