Big Girl Room newness seems to have worn off. Mary spends a little bit of time in there - its where we get dressed in the morning - but other than that its doesnt see much of her. I still love the room, though, and I'm happy with how its turned out. It feels good to have accomplished something, to have totally completed a room. I will post ( Read more... )

Plans for my birthday:
Sleep in (which means until 8:00)
Go to the farmers market
take a nap
get birthday gifts (I asked for a new digital watch from Mark, and oreos from anyone else who asked what i wanted).
Eat oreo's, with lots of milk.
grill out for dinner?
go to bed early?

Thanks to everyone who was able to join us for the party. we really had a wonderful time and enjoying seeing all of our friends and family. Mary was in such a great mood too - i was so happy to see her getting along with her friends so nicely, sharing all of her toys without a fuss, and just having a ball at her birthday party!

This morning we headed to the Washington Street Neighborhood Parade - a two block long parade, hosted by the neighbors who live on the 500 to 700 block of Washington street. it was very pleasant, and lasted about 10 minutes.
