Well, this looks to be my last summer in Metro-Detroit, possibly Michigan. My dad's plant is closing, so his job is gone effective sometime in the next few months, maybe a bit more. He's been looking to transfer in the company since he's got 20+ years at TRW, and the retirement benefits increase substantially when you break a certain threshold. ( Read more... )

It has rained here about 9 days in the last week. I had lots of time yesterday and went and bought some tickets for the big hockey game versus Northern Michigan (the BIG rivalry), reserved right on the ice in the corner by the opponent goal.
