Summary: Ueda finds himself on a bus going to who-knows-where, and his traveling partner is none other than Nishikido. Bad summary… sorry!
Warnings: Nothing really, except for some silliness and maybe some out of character… and maybe some bad grammar and misspelling.
Disclaimer: I own nothing but the plot, but I sure wish I owned more...
Inspiration: The nice, warm and sunny weather that has been with me the last few days and the song Summer Time by NewS is also a source of inspiration kinda...
A/N: Yay! Another update from me (^o^) I'm updating now because I'm pretty sure I won't be able to update anything at all this weekend at all, not even with short drabbles. I might, and I hope, that I will update once more next week before I go to Barcelona on Friday the 12th June. I'll really do my best to update next weeks since it I'll probably be my last update for over 6 weeks… how am I going to survive without your nice comments?

Chapter 13
An hour later Ueda and Ryo had finally decided to get up and have some breakfast and made it downstairs. When they walked into the dining area they found Shige, Koyama, Nakamaru and Junno sitting by one of the tables. When Junno noticed them he waved them over, Ueda smiled at his friend as he grabbed Ryo's arm dragging him with him to the table.
"Good Morning" Ueda smiled sitting down next to Junno, while Ryo sat on the opposite side of him - next to Shige. He got a chorus of good morning back from their company.
"Slept well?" Shige asked before blowing some air over his cup of coffee to cool it down a bit.
"I can only answer for myself, but I slept like a log" Ryo said taking a look on the menu in front of him.
"Me too" Ueda smiled. "And you guys?"
"Great, you can tell I really needed this vacation" Junno answered. "So thank you guys for inviting us along"
"Ah, nothing to say thank you about" Ueda smiled. "Right, Ryo?"
"Huh?" Ryo said startled he had not paid attention to the conversation as he was engrossed in the menu.
"It was nothing important" Ueda smiled patting Ryo's left hand that was lying on the table in front of him; not the least aware of the fact that the others had noticed that small action. "So, what are you having?"
"So what is everyone doing today?" Ueda asked after Ryo and he had got their breakfast served and had started to eat.
"I think most of us will hang out on the beach" Junno answered finishing of his cup of tea.
"Yeah, I think most of our group is too hung over o do anything else" Shige smirked.
"You're probably right" Nakamaru chuckled. "But there isn't much more you can do here anyways, right?"
"Ryo told me about some amusement park a bit outside the town" Ueda said purposely failing mentioning the old temple. "We should all go there tomorrow or something"
"I'd love that" Koyama said with very much enthusiasm. "A day filled with fun and laughter"
"And I bet they have an arcade" Junno piped in. "I mean what amusement park does not have one?"
"You and your games" Nakamru and Ueda said at the same time which made them both start laughing for some weird reason, and soon Junno and the rest joined in even though they didn't really get the fun in what had just happened.
"I guess today will be a day filled with laughter as well" Koyama as they all calmed down again.
"What day with NewS and KAT-TUN, is not filled with that?" Shige smirked.
"Yeah you're right" Nakamaru smiled. "So is everyone ready to leave for the beach?"
"Shouldn't we at least wait until the rest wakes up before we leave?" Junno asked.
"Then we'd be sitting here for hours for sure" Ryo answered "I'm sure they won't wake up in at least a few hours."
"Ah you're probably right" Junno smiled brightly getting up from his chair. "So let's go"
Half an hour later they were all down at the beach in their swimming trunks, the beach were still pretty empty except from some old couple pretty far away from them lying under a parasol.
"I hope the beach will stay this empty all day" Ueda mused taking in the beach.
"Yeah, it's nice with not many people around" Shige said putting down his bag on the sand "Making it easier for us to relax and not being recognized."
"So, let's take a swim." Ryo said impatient pulling at Ueda's arm like a little child. "I never got to take one yesterday."
"Yeah let's go" Ueda smiled as Ryo took his hand and they ran down to the water. The others just looked after them in amusement.
They ran into the water laughing as the water splashed around them until they finally fell over into the water.
"Ah this is just great" Ryo said with laughter ringing in his voice.
"Yeah" Ueda could only agree and smiled brightly before he dived into the water to fully drench his whole body. He came up from the water a few meters away from Ryo.
"Ah, that was refreshing" Ueda smiled again stretching his arms above his head. Ryo chuckled and swam over to Ueda coming up so close and as he stood up he placed his hand on Ueda's waist for support. Ueda got surprised by the sudden body contact and the closeness; they were standing only a few centimeters away from each other and Ryo didn't remove his hand from Ueda's waist. Even though Ueda was used to being close to Ryo by now he felt kinda awkward standing there like that but at the same time it felt right. It was a strange kind of feeling. He gazed up at Ryo's face and their eyes locked. None of them said anything; they just stood there looking at each other. Suddenly a splash was heard and they got back to reality turning their heads in the direction of the sound and saw that the others had joined them in the water.
"Come and play with us" Junno called to them holding up a bright red beach ball into the air.
"Coming" Ueda smiled both a bit relieved and disappointed at the interruption. He grabbed a hold of Ryo's hand under the water and led the way to their friends who was about twenty meters away from them or something like that. When they got closer Junno threw the ball at them and Ryo let go of Ueda's hand for the sake of catching the ball. He missed the ball though and it hit Ueda in the head instead causing him to slightly lose his balance.
"Ops" Junno smiled apologetic "Sorry Uebo"
"It's okay Junno" Ueda said getting his balance back and grabbed the ball that was floating next to him and gave it to Ryo.
"So what are we playing?" Ryo asked the others.
They made it back to the beach almost an hour later after playing some random game that Junno claimed that he had invented as a kid. They had had really fun and laughed a lot, and Junno won the game but how he managed that the others had no clue about, since no one really understood the rules that well.
"Ah that was fun. " Ueda sighed happily. "But I now I want something to drink. Anyone else wants anything?"
"It would be nice if you could get me a bottle of water" Koyama smiled from where he was sitting on his towel.
"Can you get me some too?" Nakamaru asked while drying himself.
"Yeah of course" Ueda smiled "So two bottles of water then, nothing else?"
"No, I'm good" Shige said pulling out a book from his bag, and Ryo and Junno just shook their heads.
"Okay, I'll be back in a moment" Ueda said grabbing his wallet and walked away toward a nearby stall.
He wasn't gone for long but when he got returned he noticed that his friends weren't alone any more. Some foreign-looking girls had joined them, and one of them was talking to Ryo who seemed to be fine with it. Ueda couldn't help it but for some strange reason he felt annoyed and he quickened his pace.
"I'm back!" Ueda announced throwing himself down next to Ryo. "Who is this?" he then asked trying to sound as nice as possible while eyeing the girl that was sitting on the other side of Ryo.
"Oh, this is Jenny-san" Ryo said introducing the girl sounding a little too friendly for Ueda's liking. He could not for the world understand why he felt so annoyed by the girl. "She and her sisters accidentally threw their ball in our direction and we got talking."
"Hi, nice to meet you" the girl smiled holding out her hand for Ueda to shake; Ueda hesitated but finally took the hand in his.
"Nice to meet you too. I'm Ueda Tatsuya" Ueda said faking a smile and let go of her hand.
"The girls over there are my sisters Matilda and Sara" the Jenny girl smiled and pointed towards the two other girls talking to the rest of his company.
"Okay, so where are you from?" Ueda asked trying to be polite while slowly and unconsciously moving a bit closer to Ryo.
"Ah, we're from England" the Jenny girl answered still smiling "We're here visiting our grandmother…"
So that's why they look foreign but can talk fluently Japanese and don't seem to realize that they're talking to some of Japans most popular idols. She kept on talking and talking and talking and eventually Ueda shut her out, just nodding and humming to make her believe that he was really listening. Ryo seemed to be listening for real though which annoyed the hell out of Ueda. Couldn't this girl just leave them alone?
After half an hour of pretending to listen to the girl Ueda had enough and got up from the ground.
"I'm going for a walk." He mumbled and walked away quickly.
"Hey, where are you going?" Ryo shouted after him but Ueda just ignored him and the others. He could feel that everyone was watching him as he walked.
"Hey!" Ryo shouted again and soon a hand crashed down on Ueda's shoulder. "I asked where you are going."
"I'm just taking a walk" Ueda answered not even bothering to look at Ryo.
"What's wrong?" Ryo asked grabbing a hold of Ueda's arm and pulling it so that Ueda had to face him. "Did I do something?"
"No, I just felt like I taking a walk" Ueda answered.
"Mind if I walk with you?" Ryo asked with a small smile and just like that the annoyance that Ueda had felt disappeared.
"No, I don't" Ueda smiled softly "but are you sure you wanna leave Jenny?"
"Who? Oh, you mean that girl" Ryo said. "I didn't really like her. She was kind of annoying don't you think?"
"But you seemed to have fun with her" Ueda said surprised.
"I was just being polite" Ryo smiled and grabbed a hold of Ueda's hand. "Let's go"
Ueda couldn't help but smile wider as they started to walk along the beach and further away from that stupid Jenny-san and their friends.
They walked for quite a while chatting and laughing in the sun before they returned to their friends. The group on the beach had grown while they were gone; Kame, Jin, Yamapi, Tegoshi, Masuda and Koki had joined the others, and to Ueda's annoyance the girls were still there too, though he wasn't as annoyed as he had been earlier. Junno and Nakamaru were back down in the water together with Yampi, Tegoshi and Masuda playing with the beach ball. Shige were reading a thick book, Koyama and Koki were talking to the girls while Jin and Kame were just lazing in the sun and only paying attention to each others.
"Ah, you're back!" The Jenny girl smiled and walked up to them "Wanna join me for lunch?"
She smiled a little too brightly in Ryo's direction for Ueda's liking and got closer to Ryo putting a hand around Ryo's arm as to show the girl that Ryo belonged to him. He wasn't aware of his own action; he just acted on instinct.
"Sorry" Ryo answered the girl "But we have other plans."
"We have?" Ueda asked surprised and looked at Ryo, while the Jenny girl gave them both a suspicious look.
"Yeah… we're…" Ryo started. "We're just here to grab our things before we go and do some shopping..?" he looked at Ueda with a pleading look as if asking him to help out and luckily for him Ueda got the hint.
" Ah, that's right!" Ueda smiled. "We decided that yesterday, didn't we?"
"Exactly" Ryo smiled at Ueda before he turned towards the Jenny girl.
"Ah, okay then." The Jenny girl said clicking her tongue. "Do you mind if I join you?"
"Sorry again" Ryo smiled. "But we rather go by ourselves."
"Ah I get it now" The Jenny girl exclaimed. "You two are an item, a couple, lovers! Why didn't I see that right from the start? Stupid me! " she chuckled at her own stupidity. "And that's why you wanna be alone and of course I can understand that."
"Wha-what?" Ryo stuttered. "I'm not gay! He is" he pointed at Ueda. "But I'm not. We're just friends!"
"Sure you are" The Jenny girl smiled and for the first time Ueda didn't get annoyed by her and smiled back at her, but he didn't really know why.
"We shouldn't have to defend ourselves to strange girls like you" Ryo snapped and grabbed a firm hold of Ueda's hand. "Come on Princess!"
"Why are you dragging me down to the water?" Ueda asked puzzled. "I thought we were going to do some shopping…"
"Well I don't feel like it anymore" Ryo said as they reached the water. "I need to cool down and what better way is there than taking a swim?"
