Summary: He was in a one-sided love, and couldn’t find comfort. His band mates were worried but he couldn’t tell them. Weirdly, a drunken night caused a spontaneous friendship that turned into a bigger thing that he didn’t see coming.

"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">And fuck was the good word thought Ueda as he turned in his bed to see Ryo sleeping peacefully next to him, his arm around his waist.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">Ueda thought for a second how cute the man who had practically attack him could be. The said man moved in his sleep, cuddling more the boxer.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">“This is bad.” murmured softly Ueda. He didn’t know how to react. He thought about what to say to the younger man when he would wake up but his mind went blank.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">At that moment, Ryo woke up slowly. At first, he looked clearly confused. Then, his eyes winded in shock and got up without looking back. He went to the living room where their clothes were, took them and got dressed. Ueda, who had silently followed the younger man, was looking without a word. Ryo got out of the apartment and Ueda heard a soft “sorry” as the door closed.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">At that moment, the boxer felt extremely sad. He couldn’t say why but he suddenly felt empty.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">And after a week, he knew exactly why. He missed Ryo. The Osakan had done everything to avoid the older man. He never responded his calls or his mails. Only once they had met by chance and Ryo diverted his eyes, ignoring completely the older man. Ueda was sad and all his friends were worried.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">The boxer’s mind was a mess. What happen? How did it happen? Why did it happen? And why every time he thought about it he felt so good yet so sad. Not sad because it had happen, but sad because it couldn’t happen again.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">Ueda was still unsure of his feelings. He couldn’t tell if it was love. He didn’t want to know if it was love but losing Ryo was even more painful.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">But as usual, if someone would ask about it, Ueda would just brush it off saying that it was nothing important. He kept everything inside and that had repercussions. Ueda could snap at every little thing that was annoying him. And that made KAT-TN even more worry.

"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">One night where Ueda had exceeded his limit while boxing, trying to not think about Ryo, he didn’t expect a call from Kame saying that Jin and Ryo were having a big fight in Jin’s apartment.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">Ueda managed to get there, tired but curious. He would never imagine he would be the cause of the fight. But that what he saw when Ryo and Jin were throwing punches at each other.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">“They started to drink. But Ryo was soon turning drunk and Jin talked about you and Ryo started be angry and I decided to call you so you could stop Ryo and in the same time maybe make up with him…” said Kame but Ueda couldn’t get his eyes off the scene in front of him.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">“Why aren’t talking to him?” asked angrily Jin.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">“It’s not of your fucking business!” responded Ryo.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">“Yes, it’s my fucking business! He’s my band mate! I care about him!”
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">“You didn’t seem to care when he was crying for you!” shouted back Ryo. Ueda’s eyes winded.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">“No, Ryo!” He said but the two men were too engross in their fight to see hear anything.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">“What do you mean?” asked softly Jin, stopping the fight and staring Ryo.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">“You’re really a baka.” scoffed Ryo. “I still wonder what he founded in you.”

"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">Ryo said nothing, but only looked smugly Jin. The taller man snapped.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">“Fuck, Ryo! What do you mean?” he shouted.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">“You still don’t understand that he loves you! He waited all this years for you to fucking remark him and you break his heart by going with Kamenashi!”
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">Everything in the room froze. The breathing had stopped. Ueda didn’t know what to do. He wanted to stop Ryo, to tell him that he was all right but another part of him told him refused to move, this part of him wanted them to know the truth. So, he stayed there, his eyes still glued to the scene.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">“The most ridiculous was that idiot did nothing about it. He didn’t fight, he didn’t say anything and he just shut his mouth. Thinking that it was the best solution so that you and Kamenashi can be happy. He never fucking think about himself. Not wanting to worry you and stay alone with his pain. I couldn’t leave him by himself.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">When I saw him cry that day, I thought it was for something stupid but he told me… he was so drunk that he shouted at the closed TV and… he was so… vulnerable. So fragile… all I wanted was to protect him… Me. Me who had been so indifferent and mean to him. Maybe I had fallen for him a long time ago… I just never realize it.”
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">Ueda was more than shocked. “Ryo… fell from me?” he murmured softly, confused. It was going too fast.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">“But how can I win when he loves so much?! When he gave up on love for your sake?! Fuck, Akanishi, don’t start saying you fucking care when you fucking know nothing! When he suffered so much for you! When I lov-”
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">“SHUT UP!” screamed Ueda and before he knew it, he had punched Ryo.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">“Hime…” and the Osakan fainted on shock.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">Ueda took the man in his arms and murmured softly: “I’m sorry Ryo… I don’t want to hear this… At least, not like that…”
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">The boxer then looked at Jin. The man was in shocked. He had frozen and was looking at Ueda with big surprised eyes.
"ＭＳ 明朝";mso-fareast-language:JA">A long pregnant silence passed. Kame was the one to break it by saying: “So Tacchan loves Jin?”
