Chapter 3 “Alexander, see me after school.” Mr Jeremy said before he left the classroom.
“NO! I have a full-fledged gossiping session with-” Alexander stopped himself before he could continue, smiling cheekily to himself. “Well, I don’t mind.”
Mr Jeremy sighed. “Kevin, you too.”
“But-”
“Kevin too? I thought you wanted to exchange gossip with me!” Alexander blinked.
“Mr Jeremy! I-I wouldn’t do it again! I was just preparing for my study buddy programme tomorrow. I promise I wouldn’t multitask again! I’ll pay attention in your classes!” Kevin shook his head furiously. “You can’t keep me for detention! My mother would be crushed!”
“If it isn’t anything interesting, I have no time for that~! You know my rules.”
“You don’t have any rules.” Mr Jeremy rolled his eyes. “Kevin, relax. You multitasked well so it’s fine with me, and I wasn’t calling you for detention. It’s details of a debate competition. It’s in English so I’m sending the both of you. No, Alexander, you are not allowed to back out. By the way, you’ll like the topic.”
“Oh?” Alexander looked interested. “I will?”
“Yeah, it’s debating about whether females and males these days should stick to the stereotypes of their gender. Like gossiping, is stereotyped as a things for girls. Alexander, you, have made yourself the perfect example to raise.” Mr Jeremy grinned.
Alexander smiled sweetly back. “I know right? And Mr Jeremy, you-”
“Enough. We’ll talk after school.” Mr Jeremy immediately reverted back to a serious expression, eyes warning Alexander.
Alexander faked an angelic smile and shrugged.

"Hey Soohyun!" Kiseop watched as his coworker greeted the burly man he met earlier. Weird. Did he just change his clothes?
"Hello." The burly man greeted back with a smile, now not so scary. "Oh, sorry about earlier today. I was in a rush."
"When are you not in a rush?" Kiseop's coworker joked.
"Nah, it's okay." Kiseop smiled. “I’ll do better tomorrow.”
“Ah, you did good today, don’t worry.” Soohyun assured. “I need a lot of rice to give me energy though.”
“I’ll take note of that.” Kiseop nodded. Soohyun bowed a goodbye towards Kiseop and his coworker before rushing off.
“Hello, Lee Kiseop-ssi.” Dongho walked in with an adorable smile. “Have you found that Kim Muscleman?”
“Erm...It wasn’t a Kim. He came back and explained the situation already, though.” Kiseop smiled politely. “Thank you for being concerned, though.”
“Then? Which surname is it?” Dongho frowned, immediately whipping out his notebook. Kiseop looked towards his coworker for help, who laughed when he noticed Dongho.
“Dongho-ssi? It’s Shin Soohyun.”
“Shin? Tsk, he explained the situation? What did he say?” Dongho looked annoyed, taking out a pen and probably drawing circles around Soohyun’s name.
“He pays weekly, so his bill is already settled. I’m new, so I didn’t know. “Kiseop explained.
“Oh.” Dongho’s face immediately had back the bright expression. “Glad he didn’t bring shame to our family name.”
Kiseop and his coworker exchanged glances.
“Goodbye! Lee Kiseop-ssi, we might have to talk one day about your family tree. I have a few missing blanks you can help me with.” Dongho smiled widely, before waving and running off.

“Eli~!” A girl sweetly called out and handed the said guy a bottle of water.”Here, drink up~!”
“Excuse me, this is practice ground, outsiders are not allowed.” Soohyun glared at the girl as some kind of warning.
“I’m not an outsider! I’m Eli’s girlfriend!” The girl stood akimbo and rolled her eyes at Soohyun.
Eli choked on his water. When were they in a relationship?
“Omo! Eli! Are you okay?” The girl worriedly patted Eli’s back. “Better?”
“My captain’s right. This is practice ground. We can talk after practice, all right?” Eli gave a small smile and the girl immediately squealed.
“Okay! I’ll be waiting for you there!” Eli’s eyes followed the finger’s direction and tried to remember the place. Couldn’t keep a girl waiting for nothing, anyway.
“Mm.”
After the girl was gone, the teammates all crowded around Eli.
“You have a girlfriend? Or is she another crazy woman?” Eli’s teammate chuckled.
“I never knew I was her boyfriend.” Eli scratched his head.
“Tell her, isn’t nice to lie to her.” Another nudged Eli seriously.
“But she seems so hopeful, I don’t want to break her heart.” Eli sighed. “I guess I just have to humour her until she gets sick of me. They all do, anyway.”
“They don’t. They just realise you treat every girl the same way.” Soohyun rolled his eyes. “Aren’t you interested in any at all? Don’t mind me but that’s one whole heck lot of hot girls drooling for you.”
“No, haven’t found that special one yet.”

Kibum was getting jumpy at the thought of the study buddy thing happening tomorrow while he was walking back home. The thing was, he didn’t know what to expect.
Sure, he had heard the name “Kevin Woo” one time too many, but he had no idea what that guy looked like at all. He also had no information (zero, nil, nothing) on whether “Kevin Woo” was a safe or very dangerous species.
Nerds were scary that way.
He hadn’t encountered them before though, fangirls keep them out of his way. (Although he firmly believes nerds were less frightening than fangirls.)
And how old was this guy? Oh yeah, Ms Park did say something about that someone being of his age. It shouldn’t be Kevin Woo then, should it? Didn’t he skip a grade or something?
Kibum wasn’t very religious in following gossip though. Maybe he heard it wrongly.
Then again, Ms Park isn’t widely known for her lack of credibility in information for nothing. That’s why she carries post-it notes around so she doesn’t forget what to say. There was this quiz he stayed up all night to study for because she said “There’ll be a quiz.”, causing Kibum to think that he missed out a part of her sentence.
And he only finds out the next week that the quiz would start the very next minute.
How splendid.
Sighing at the memory, he knew it wouldn’t make much of a difference anyway. Smart students are prepared for any kind of quiz. Small quiz, big quiz, surprise quiz, weird quiz, personality quiz, enviromental quiz, etc.
Yes, he had been stumped by a question that a host from a television show suddenly appeared to ask him, questioning him how old Justin Bieber was. (Must be his face’s fault, there had been so many people around him at that time.)
How the heck would he know the age of a random guy? Who was Jeos-teen Bee-beo-reu anyway?
Enough about his pathetic life. Now, he’s moving on to the next stage, probably annoying his study buddy to his (or her) limits with his hopeless brainlessness.
What if it wasn’t Kevin Woo? Would it be good? What if it WAS Kevin Woo? Should he go research about who Kevin Woo was? Maybe consult the apparently very famous gossip guy in school?
What was that guy’s name again?
