No Alcohol....Temperature of 101+ and climbing w/o medication....

I gave up Alcohol for Lent. I needed to. The bottle was begining to call me too often. The one person who pulled me out last time I let go isn't here. I avoided it in November and December... I'm not certain why its calling me now...maybe it has to do with my folks leaving for Ohio finally. I'm not real certain ( Read more... )

March is the also start of spring allergy season around here.

If you tend to get sick every spring, try taking something like Caritin, or other Loratidine containing medicines like Alavert (pay me! me! me!). The (insert name here)-D versions of the drug also contain psuedoephedrine, and thus will provide immediate nose relief.

And for fever reduction, take Advil or aspirin. Tends to work a LOT better for most folks than Tylenol (acetomenaphen is what the combo cold remedies tend to contain).

Otherwise, I hope you get better.
