for those who haven't heard yet, my car needs $1500 worth of work to pass inspection. pass. if it were in excellent condition, it would be worth about $1600 at a private sale. as if that weren't enough, we just found out from someone who works at the car wash next door that our landlord is planning on ripping this place down in the spring. also, ( Read more... )

lately i've been doing this thing where i wake up constantly about an hour before my alarm goes off. last night was the worst. first 11:30, then three something, four something, and five something. pretty annoying.

even though it's a pain to get up really early in the morning, my favorite time of day is the darkness just before sunrise, the quiet before the day begins. i don't get to see it much anymore. it reminds me of the days my friend across the street would drive me to school. we would drive down by the beach to pick up another passenger. the sun would ( Read more... )

it's going to be a good rest of summer/fall.

my car is all fixed now. my insurance payed for most of it and our landlord is paying for the rest. also, he's kicking those people out, so we're the last people left in this building.

apparently our upstairs neighbors or one of their friends thought it would be a fun time to throw a brick and smash my rear car window during their drunken party last night.  '07 has been a pretty fun year so far.

yes, our place caught on fire again. looks like we're staying in hampton with my parents for at least the next couple nights.
