Nope, no clue. I emailed the general info address listed on the web site, and it bounced back. So I emailed the specific names listed on the site, and I'm still waiting to hear back. Not that I expect to, of course....

The Plug Awards sucks. I went a few years ago to see the National. They played like two songs. There's a lot of filler-- it's an awards show, like a really low-budget Grammys.

perhaps, but (a) Nick Cave is supposedly headlining - more than two songs maybe? and (b) it's only ten bucks. Worth a shot, don't you think?

The National also headlined. It's seriously like Justin Timberlake playing the grammys- time for one or two songs.

Nick Cave is awesome-- I've seen him live and I think he's great-- but I really wouldn't recommend the Plug awards. Sitting through three hours of banter and watching absolute garbage for those two songs was not a worthwhile tradeoff.

I hope that if you write more regularly that this stuff will get spread over a number of posts. that way i won't have to be so insanely jealous of/drooling over all of the fun/delicious stuff you do every night....though i'm not sure i'm jealous of getting stood up capped off with a $20 drink. yikes.
