Favorite line: That's either a really neat trick or a collosal waste of trees.

He DID do a fine job on the fan-fiction, front, though. And it's not as if they didn't ASK for a stupid assignment, right? College brings the worst out of all of us.

But seriously, Alek, what the hell WERE you thinking with those faction names? The Anti-Sex League? Is this irony? Usually I catch irony, but I am failing to catch this.

Pip: do you always pay such close attention to nuances of word placement? Also to numbers. I would not have noticed the disparities and the fact that everything was indeed set upon a 10. Hm. Perhaps you should go over great works of literature and turn in critiques of all the discrepcancies and failings... I wonder how numerous they are?

i believe the 10s was a coincidence. I used the Bad Religion song "10 in 2010" as a bit of a punk reference and judging by the calendar, the inaguration of 2009 should be on the 10th of jan. I'll admit to it's horribleness thee and once I revise it, I'll post it so you can all laugh at it.

dude, this is perhaps the singlehanded worst iteration of one of the greatest books ever written. you took George Orwells genius and made him turn over in his grave. what's next, Animal Farm re-enacted with microbes on a deteriorating salami? wait, that'd actually be pretty cool. and another note, Julia was his WOMAN, not his mom! did you read the book, or just assume that all of their little post-sex chats were incestual? you make me SICK! and the whole point with the proles was that there wasn't any hope to be gotten from them, and that the Anti-Sex League was promoted in full by the Ministry. read better next time!

wow pat, you're an asshole. this is only PART of the story. it clearly states that Winston Smith was a punk in '84, that he met the character Julia and that Winston is the narrator's father. so logically it's his mom and not his sex partner. dumbfuck. I'm also drawing references fram any part because I don't really give a shit about this paper's quality.

but it messes up the storyline! and he wasn't a punk, he was a FEEB who worked in office, then went against the government for a short time before they kicked his ass for being such a non-conformist.
