Dear Gimli,
I have a request to make of you. Would it be possible for you to make a brooch of a rose in gold? I ask you as both as a friend and as one who knows the skills you possess.
My request comes because I am in need of a special gift. You know that Dior has meet Eruaphadriel and they fell in love. In a few months we will have our first wedding here in South Ithilien. I look forward to it.
It is here I have a problem. Because the people and elves here see me as their Lord I feel that I need to give them a gift worthy of coming from one. I also hope it would give the message of that we will manage to continue to build what we have started.
I really would love you if you do this for me. Would you? I really think that you shall encourage love, because if you find one it creates harmony. Because Dior and Eruaphadriel have found each other, they are worthy to be shown appreciation. So if you fulfil my request you will make me happy.
